Milton-Union Education Foundation Fund
Established in 1995, the Milton-Union Education Foundation exists to promote the programs, activities, and facilities of Milton-Union Schools — supporting student academic achievement, teaching excellence and innovation, and enrichment opportunities both in and out of the classroom. The Milton-Union Education Foundation receives an annual distribution from this fund to support its goal of ensuring Milton-Union students have every opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
CASA/GAL of Miami
County Fund
Since 1994, CASA/GAL of Miami County has given a voice to the county’s most vulnerable children, training and appointing dedicated volunteers to serve as Court Appointed Special Advocates for children who have experienced abuse or neglect. This fund provides an annual distribution to CASA/GAL of Miami County to advance its mission — helping recruit, train, and support the volunteer advocates who ensure every child has someone fighting for their safety and their future.
Bradford Railroad
Museum Fund
Established by passionate community members who believed in preserving the past for future generations, this fund honors Bradford, Ohio’s rich heritage as a railroad town. The fund provides an annual distribution to the Bradford Ohio Railroad Museum to support its mission of preserving Bradford’s railroad history, restoring historic sites like the Bradford Junction tower, and educating the community about the railroad legacy that shaped the region.
Mrs. Kinney’s
Education Fund
Mrs. Virginia Kinney was a Pleasant Hill resident whose nearly 55-year career as an educator and librarian included decades of service at the Miami County Public Library and Newton Local School. Established in her memory, this fund honors her lifelong belief in the power of learning and the importance of preserving history for future generations. In that spirit, the fund awards grants to Newton Local School teachers to support educational experiences outside the classroom — helping students discover the world, and their place in it, in new and meaningful ways.
John & Jean Dugan
Family Fund
John, a veteran and Miami County Commissioner, built a career helping others through his company, Benefits Analysis Corporation, while Jean, a psychiatric nurse and social worker, dedicated herself to caring for those in need, including serving on the Board of the Miami County Mental Health Association. In 2008, the couple established the John & Jean Dugan Family Fund to create a lasting legacy of these values — supporting the humanitarian efforts of Miami County’s best non-profit organizations. Today, the Dugan Family carries forward their vision, ensuring the fund continues to reflect a spirit of generosity and inspires others to give back.
