There comes a time when we all feel the need for a little sprucing up. For some of us it comes in the form of a snazzy new outfit or a new haircut. In the home it may include a new coat of paint or a new piece of furniture. These small investments we make for ourselves or our homes can go a long way in lifting our mood and giving us that new little spark to revive and rejuvenate ourselves.
We are doing a bit of sprucing up here at the Miami County Foundation. Instead of a new coat of paint or new furniture, we have revamped our website. This has been an exciting process. The Foundation partnered with the Interactive Media Program at the Upper Valley Career Center in Piqua. Working with Mrs. Caudill’s class has been an amazing experience. Interacting with the students along with the sharing of ideas between the committee members has been a wonderful example of how collaboration can and should work.
This project has given the Foundation that little spark, a little rejuvenation and, I for one, am excited for the future.
